January in Moab

Spent half a day on 1-3-11 exploring NW of Moab in 2-6" of fresh snow. We were returning to Colorado via I-70 and decided to explore a bit in the new snow. Visited the Tusher Tunnel area and up Bartlett Wash to the Dubinky Well Road. Very beautiful and very cold.

Been a while since I've been on this site. Expedition Portal is still the best 4x4/off-road forum around! I am still having fun with my '91 GDE #158 (I purchased this vehicle new after selling my '75 FJ-40). On 01/10/11 it turned 291,315 miles on the odometer and it just keeps on trucking!

My vehicle of choice in Iraq. Although the terrain wasn't difficult in Baghdad, I did find a way to add excitement to my drives. :littlefriend: The only Mods I had done is to replace a missing shift knob with a drilled out billiard ball. That, and remove the doors for quicker entry/exit and easier to shoot from. Yes, that is a bullet hole in the windscreen. She never let me down though, and for that I am very greatful.
