Damn!!! Theres a lot of drool on my keyboard, it must've been the 6.2kV alternator/inverter!! could definitely run some power tools off that!

1992 k2500 dirty burb. Stayed stock on the engine since I am sure I will not be doing a sas. 5x8 roof rack and lights. other than that bone stock 5.7 4l80e 4.10s. 265/75/16 ko2 on the rear and michelen at2s up front. Looking for bumper ideas all over. That picture was taken right before we left Texas for North Dakota in June. Spun a bearing in Kansas on the way up and dropped in a gm crate 350. Got a whole 210hp from that guy. Much better than the wore out engine before though.

Here's the latest addition to my suburban, double swing outs. Tire carrier on one side, the other will carry fuel cans and propane.

Juxtaposition defined..

The Volt is for DD purposes, while the Suburban is the newly acquired "Do-it-all-vehicle". It's a 94' K2500 that started life as a NC forestry vehicle and currently has 157k miles.

I bought a gallon can of bed liner for 50 bucks and rolled it onto the Suburbillac a couple weeks ago. Came out great. I put a coat on the hood as well as the glare from the LED light bar was really harsh. I have a set of nice aluminum Centerline rims that are going on next to swap out the original steel wheels.

That's sad news about the centerlines. I love the steel wheels and dog dish hub caps.
This might just sound silly, I'm looking for a set for my duramax. Kick it old school a bit.

All these great examples of Expedition Suburbans have inspired me to post some of mine. My father always had trail ready suburbans and blazers since I was in pull ups. Mine is a 2002 2500 8.1. Superlift braket lift, Eaton tru trac, Fox reservoirs, compressor, winch, duals batteries, custom skids, HD hood, reinforcements and lots more expedition necessary items. Here are a few pics I had on my phone.

So many nice looking rigs. I love the older trucks more than newer ones (just personnel preference), but this is a nice looking rig.

Mine so far. 1999, 6.5 turbo diesel, 4L80, NP241, Dana 60, 14 bolt, 37" Goodyear MTRs, homemade double beadlock wheels. Some other modifications too. . . Shes a work in progress
