Another Turbo Tent. It's the best ground tent I've owned and goes up quickly. This one is a three-man size tent, perfect for two! But this size it's no longer being made.

I'll note that however I've bought a Tepui Ayer RTT to mount on my trailer.

That looks like a very great spot to camp at.
I can hear the river running by if I close my eyes.

A few of my set up...

It's a Howling Moon RRT and awning. Arguably the best quality available. Made several trips with this setup over the last few years, the longest of which was 9 days.

My first post!

I love tents! Particularly canvas tents with wood stoves.

The one I've had the longest is a 9X9 modified Shackelton with a center pole and 2 doors with screens. Very useful in the high desert in the spring and fall.

Big Bend Ranch State Park in March (with a 30 mph wind):

Inside with a Four Dog titanium wood stove:

My latest is a 10X13 EXP Basecamp by Snowtrekker (early morning before firing up the stove :coffeedrink:):

I've used it in -30F and bake cookies in comfort:

The Basecamp can be used year round with a screen door and rear window. All the comforts of home. Cot, tables, chairs and heat when you need it!

ARB Simpson 3. First roof top tent, and I have no idea how we slept on the ground. After my first night in it I was all :Wow1::wings:(true story!!) Got it for a steal too...$900 and the guy only usd it 3 times. same story i hear everywhere....having a kid, must sell. Anyway, we love it, and when Im away for work, the misses can go camping solo with the dogs. When/if this one craps out, we will deffinetly be getting another one, whatever the cost.

Sleep mode

PS: what does everyone do with the cover once they are open?? not removable....i dont think, but I have been wrong before:elkgrin:

The cover is removable. Slides out of the slot. Depending on how it's mounted it could be a pain to remove and reinsert.

I use a Bungie cord to roll it up under the overhang.
