So my wifey finished off her contribution, she wove a combination of paracord and elastic cord through the pegboard holes, this gives us storage for things like hats, gloves, first aid kit etc etc

Finished wiring up the rear camera and the GPS unit...camera seems to work really well, both in low light and high light views, also gives a wide enough view that when driving down the road I can still see the car off to the side as it comes into view from the drivers seat, this means much less blind spots. The screen is attached to a custom above sun isn't console that I will try to get some pics of shortly..

When not using the GPS it is on a ram mount so it sits up close to the console and out of the way....less for prying eyes to see also..

Got some big green goodies in the mail today

....had a set of custom heavy duty driveshaft made by GBR out of Utah...one of the best in the biz for these front double Cardon shafts and larger diameter rear shaft, this now cured the rumbling I was having since I lifted the truck ..


You can see the difference in the thickness with the rear driveshaft tubing also..

While I was under there I also installed a rover drive transfer box high capacity sump pan, this now take at least twice as much oil, allowing better lubrication and additional cooling through the fins on the bottom..

Above it is the GKN electric overdrive system which in top gear drops your revs about 7-800 RPM...

Nice work with the backup camera...on a 127/130 that's a must have (I don't have one on mine, and with the rear hood/canvas on it's a bit tricky to see what's going on behind you). One of these days I need to get motivated and do some sort of reverse-camera setup.

I took the x-deflex rear stabilizer bar setup off my camel 110 and installed it on the 130, had to make special adapters to allow the bar to clear the fuel tank, bought a large block of 2" thick billet aluminum , cut it to the desired width and length and carefully drilled the 4 holes in it to space the bar down, works great, really changes the road manners of the fat ole girl... And that makes the wife much happier.

Since I raised it the front driveshaft has been very close to the front stabiliser bar, when the right front wheel droops the driveshaft (propshaft) was rubbing on the bar and I was concerned about it doing damage, now that I have installed the expensive propshafts I decided to space them down the same way as the front, I really would love to get rid of them but since the majority of outer driving is going to be on roads and not extreme 4 wheeling I would prefer to keep them sooo....

Some pics of my overhead compartment consoles, this is always handy for storing gloves, phones, paperwork, maps etc etc.. I cut the original sunvisors down and installed the to the consoles also. Handy for when driving west late in the afternoon.... Drivers side..



Passenger side, I also installed a small LED strip light which is switched on with the little red button, and next to that is a dual port USB charger, this way the wifey can have her phone up there charging and out of the way..I will be installing an elastic front over the gaps...that way nothing bounces out when driving..

Wanted some form of ventilation into the truck yet still being secure, have a set I bought for the 110 rear windows and kinda copied that design, am yet to bead blast and paint them, next set may be a little less of a gap at the bottom but this is necessary so that you can slide one side in to get the other side in..the bottom of the screen has a welded "U" channel on it that sits over the glass, then you just wind the window up and viola, secure, bug free ventilation, holes are small enough and metal is offset to the outside of the lower channel so that only the heaviest of rains get through..

Next task is to figure out how to mount my premier mobile welder setup... This system saved my butt a while ago, and since I have it I figured I'd install it on this truck, it will fit right where the a/c compressor is usually mounted, and will only be installed when I need it, will weld a v-belt pulley on the front of the power steering pulley and then a small v-belt will go on when I need to use it... Thought about mounting it permanently but fear that not being used and getting wet would do more damage than good..so the whole system packs neatly into a pelican case that sits in the storage box

So the wife was so happy with the rear storage board she started looking for vacant spaces to put more of it...(truth be told it's a pretty good idea that works well...but don't tell her I said that..). So the front wall of the rear box received the treatment as well.. Now it can store her backpacker guitar ( she loves to sit in the open country and play..) as well as fishing gear etc...

Had some extra lights around that I removed from the truck when I first bought it,money are fluorescents and work well so I installed one on the tool side door, so when you open the door you have an overhead work light...works really well...coupled with the LED light strip there seems to be plenty of light..
