It's a small world! We have probably met. I'm the guy that designed the hydraulic raising fuel/spare tire carrier on one of the chase trucks in case you know of anybody looking for one! Tracy is a great guy, doing well too. Here is a great pic of James at V2R, typical driving style for Jimmy!

He got it flipped over and finished the race! Had no brakes so was bumping reverse all the way down one of the canyons just outside of Reno.

Desert racing is one of the most adrenalizing thing I have ever done, absolutely love it. The best description I ever heard was from Lohn Langleys co driver, sheriff of LV, "the only greater rush is getting shot at and missed". I've been shot at, and I agree!

You are lucky, most people will never experience it and don't know how incredible it is. It is a mental and physical challenge with heavy doses of adrenaline!

I flogged the F350 pretty good on Race day; hitting 4 spots during the first, 2-lap race. When the big boys ran, I hung out in a silt bed for three laps. Still hocking up dirt balls this mourning. Josh Daniels was way out front but broke a ring and pinion right in front of me; taking him out. Jeep's friend's team crossed the line first but were dropped to second on corrected time after Gus Vildosola took the win with the shortest elapsed time.

Friend of mine that codogs for Mitch Funk in the 4515 said running KOH is like being in an all day car crash!

Saw them qualifying? I was only shooting one team during the 1450 race.

The tank has arrived. Waiting for the fuel/water separator to show up. I have the AEM pumps and filters. I also sourced a blue sea circuit breaker.
