years ago, one of the 4x mags posted a photo of a BFG at 85mph, and it showed LOTS of distortion of the entire carcass. Off highway truck tires aren't really made to travel at those speeds.

Not an excuse for the failure on that 80 series. Just something I saw and it surprised me. I'll try and find a photo.
