Raising the roof

I am looking at buying a e350 ambulance with limited headroom in the rear
Has anyone out ever raised the roof by 9 inch or know of a company that will,

Has anyone raised the roof on an ambulance. I think the primary down fall is the interior height. Almost seems like there should be a paramedic height limit. I have a nice running four wheel drive model but want the extra interior height. I thought about removing the raised roof from an e350 but...

Ambo's are built to much better safety standards than any other box type vehicle you can buy. Why screw up all the engineering that went into building the Ambo box truck and also save yourself the expense to raise the roof when you already a great platform to begin with.

It might be cheaper and certainly easier to purchase a different Ambo box truck with the interior height you need right from the git go!

Yeah, there’s a few of them with raised roofs.
