I still have no idea what you're getting at.

If you want a simple answer, then at least try to ask a question that makes sense. Here's an answer that I hope covers all aspects.

Mud Lake is a dry lake bed on the west side of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Typically in spring/summer months it is still damp enough that it is a perfect truck trap. It appears dry but is actually very soft and sticky and most trucks get stuck very quickly.

In the winter however it is frozen enough that you can have some fun sliding around on the soft surface. So yeah, it's ok to drift on the lake bed. It doesn't tear anything up because it's soft enough that as soon as the temps warm up it all smooths out again and you'd never know anyone had even been there.

Here's another RANDOM pic from the same day. Venture out a little too far and the risk goes up. Took a little bit to get him unstuck. But again, you can go out to the same spot today and see ZERO evidence that anyone was even there.

there is no vegetation or eco-system on the lakebed to worry about disturbing. You are just out there having fun or getting stuck.
