Hey Beau, if you're looking to get into Macro stuff, and it'll help with the food and travel stuff to, pick up a set of Kenko Macro Tubes. Under $200 and they're small enough to fit in your jacket pocket. I always keep them in what ever camera bag we're carrying and they come in handy if you need to take a macro shot and dont have that specific Macro lens with you.

They can be put on any Nikon lens and turns it into a serious Macro contender.

This was Awhile back we were talking about these Macro Tubes. I was going through some images trying to find a specific shot I needed for something and ran across my set-up. I thought I'd post a photo to show how close you can get with the Tubes on and what the resulting image looks like

thanks guys. I was looking at these Terns and I was digging the near pattern of the way they were standing.
The seagul was a semi planned lucky shot that I was hoping to get.

Arlon, Nice shot. I love the exposure and the silhouetted windmill against the sunrise sky. For me if I was getting super picky, I would photoshop out the chimney stack low on the horizon to the right of the windmill. For some reason that draws my eye down and away from the beauty of the rest of the image.
