couple updates.. finally getten back to some fabrication.. sick and tired of wrenching on stuff. had a small side job building an RTT rack for this beautiful Tacoma... also relocated the spare so he can fit more stuff in the bed. The rack is all attched using tube clamps, so its 100% removable.. .
also got the Trekker ready to sell.. running alot better and looking even better.
aMy sister in law has a jeep wj, and wanted a rack so me and her Husband started last night on a small side project... just have to notch the other tside tube and weld her up.. not bad for a few hrs worth of work!
just got word this will all be showing up this week
super excited for the tundra plans! ordered a bunch of metal.. and after a couple trips planned i will be going full tilt on this truck..
yeah i have worked with Brandon on aother ranger builds.. for other customers.. always wanted a kit for my self.. he just got more into the 4runner/taco tundra market.. this is sorta a first for the 4wd kits for the tundras..
Brandon is a great guy to work with as well! i love supporting companies like this, just like SCS wheels.. these owners work hard to make a killer product..
Thanks! I am looking to pickup more fab work on the side for some extra income right now.
I will be doing bumpers front and rear on the tundra, sliders, front suspension, and eventually spring under rear leafs.
I am wrapping up some sliders for the wifes jeep right now.
its actaully going pretty good. finally getting to the tundra.
I have started a few projects on it. been wanting to do a Dual battery setup for some time. i purchased a Ruffstuff battery tray, and added my own mounts to it. it loks like a weird contraption but once in place you dont even notice it. I had to make a mount for the Power steering resi as well. also started the rear bumper/swinger. I decided to go with the Blue Seas 7622 because of the simplicity and the quality of their stuff. i put it over on the driver side fender well. i used some riv nuts to attach it it to the wall.
Got alot done this weekend. had some other stuff i had to do but i got the new Lt kit on and fitted. i ran out of wire and gas before i could finish up.. i hope to have this stuff off to podwer coat tommorow.
