funny seeing all these vehicles with bead locks... i dont know about the stats but here in BC beadlocks are not road legal.

For the most part they aren't. I know for our (Warrior Products) YJ, we couldn't get the tires mounted at the tire store. They popped the first bead on, then we took them and put the bead locks on then brought them back to have them balanced. I think I did four round-trips back and forth from the tire store that day.

BTW, anybody been by the Warrior booth? I didn't get to see our YJ before they finished it. If not, I can always wait till it gets back...

To those that are there can you please take some pictures of the ICON Equator? I would like to see the bed set up. Some close ups would be great.

A buddy of mine is at SEMA... I'll try to poke him via twitter to get some images if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

As someone who pined for a CJ8 with the pick-up 1/2 cab on it when they were new I'm pretty sure that is what you are seeing.

Wasn't there an outfit in Boone North Carolina making those tops and doing the conversions . Can't remember the name right off but it looks like theirs ( or one of theirs)

Looks like a small coffin sleeping up top.

Ford had a custom Transit Connect van on display

The van had a full kitchen on a sliding tray, and sleeping quarters above

It doesn't look much taller than a stock 4th Gen here. Maybe it's the angle or maybe it just isn't as tall as it looked in the low angle publicity shots?

No new 4Runners inside, but Toyota was offering a chance to
drive on the off-road course outside.

A couple of wheel questions

To all the folks at SEMA,
Does anyone know what the wheels are on the Red FJ-45? They are a black spoke design.

Also are the wheels on the AEV Wrangler an AEV wheel? I'm thinking of the black ones with 5 large round holes.

Would anyone have time to check and perhaps post the names/brands in this thread or PM me.

Thanks a lot, from someone who is still trying to figure out how to bluff my way into SEMA:drool:

Thanks Scott!

That was fast! Something think about. I looked on AEV's website before I posted, but they don't have anything up yet, or I missed it somehow.

Thanks again.
