Nice Runner! What lift and tire size are you running? I've been wanting to pick up a 3rd gen for a while now.

Thanks dude! Im running a 3" suspension lift and 285/75/16 tires. 3rd gens are the ones to have offroad

Nice! That's what I thought, I ran pretty much the exact same setup on my Tacoma and I was really happy with it. I had to sell the Taco because it wasn't big enough for my growing family (regular cab, and I have a baby on the way) and I'm really hoping to find a nice 3rd gen to replace it. We picked up a Jeep Liberty to get us camping and stuff for now, but it definitely won't get us to the places we used to go in the Taco without a lot more mods. I think a stock 3rd gen could run circles around our Liberty, even with the mild lift and offset wheels I put on it. We can still only fit 31" tires under it at most, and it barely has the clearance to go on most 2.5-3.0 trails in our area.

Love em so far.. i wouldn't get the MTRs, although they look really cool you're not gonna see much advantages over the duratracs. they are going to be noisier than hell and wont get near as many miles out of them. Dont see much side wall sway, no more than any other tire. the wheels are scs f-5s. Btw thanks for the complement, colorado is awesome!

GRR! I was contemplating on selling my Doublecab for a while and switching to a 4Runner for a little more interior room with the kid now. Well, I ended up off work for a bit for health reasons (going back soon). My nephew's girlfriend is now selling at the local Toyota dealer. I had told her when she first started there doing clerical stuff to keep an eye out for older 4Runners and Cruisers. She messaged me yesterday telling me they got a '04 4Runner with 44k on it for $15500 in white, the color I want! Oh well. Not in the cards right now.
