Simple kind of van, a 2006 e150 build thread.

Wow, that's a lot of blood, sweat and tears you put into that baby. Good luck with the sale.

Can you tell me a little more about whatever that product is you used for the walls? It looks very durable and well insulated.

The plastic is an Adrian steel poly liner.

I used spray adhesive and glued reflectix to the back side of it before I installed in the van.

this weekend, i ran 4 circuits of wire between the steel walls of the van right behind the side doors, in thick heat shrink, insulated the poly liner panel, and installed it.

it is SO MUCH quieter with the rear panels installed, its like driving a car almost. very nice. i think this is as far with the build as i am going, the next steps require cutting holes and stuff and the next owner may or may not want that.

took a deposit on the van today, local ish guy, but needed some time to come up with the scratch.

this chapter in life is coming to a close.

ya know, its funny, i had my last 2006 e150 for 14 months too! hah, only that one i drove 65k miles in 14 months and this one barely 10k.

thanks for the interest/comments etc.

yeah, thanks,

i shook dudes hand yesterday after making the deal and kind of freaked out. was a "OMFG, what did i just do!" to add to the anxiety, my super sweet dr650 just left for virginia in a shipping trailer, so i went from killer bike and van to nothing in a day.
