For those fearful of international travel, this should give you an idea as to how nice people can be in some of the most remote and inhospitable places on earth.

This year I got the chance to walk the Overland Track in Tasmania. We did it in winter which was exceptionally hard. Some years Tasmania doesn't even get snow but this year was their worst in over 30 years! We ended up snowshoeing and clearing trails for the entire 7 days without re-supply. This trip really pushed me.
