I finally picked up a Baja Burner Li and I'm wondering how those of you that have them transport/store them. It seems like Snow Peak makes a specialized carrying case for every other product in their line EXCEPT this burner. I have this bag for the bbq box, but don't know that it'd work for the baja as well: http://www.snowpeak.com/bib-case-ug-080.html

The small action packer fits the baja burner perfectly with plenty of room to spare....

Its looking good, will put all the part list and learning's once it starts working. The burner inlets are sideways, so will be using a T connection between the two and get the line from the right side terminating in a quick connector.
Ideally would have liked independent controls on the two burners, but not able to find angle valves suitable for 15 psi (the ones with outlet in-line to control knob, and inlet at 90 deg). So for now it will be a 15 psi regulator, followed by needle valve.

Only change on the bbq box is a 1 inch hole on the right side to bring the quick connector out. A step drill worked like a charm on the stainless steel.

roll up straps...

Fabricated these "roll up straps" today to secure the legs for the IGT. left room for 2 more legs that I need.

same idea I had but leave both ends long and attach it between the frames of the main IGT part :) that way uses that space and packs flat :)

could just strap the one end of yours around and let it hang ? inbetween the frame in the bag :)

nice looking job on those :)

Thanks, Honu. I could make that, too. I only have the 3 unit IGT so that won't work for me. :/ I see what you mean though. I still have some other ideas up my sleeves.. I still have to make a bag.

my stuff I sew is done pretty rough with a sail repair kit :) ahhahaha

not sure how much you would charge ? but a nicer one with velcro over setup could be cool and pack the middle full for us with 4 space tables

I always have so many idea flowing in my head I should pick up a good old basic heavy duty machine to sew sometime :)

Not sure? Depends on what you think would be a fair price? How many legs wouls you need it to hold?

An industrial sewing machine is a great investment! !! Lol

one idea I had in my head was kinda thought of from this
755639.jpg

instead of being up and down like this had the idea turn this say clockwise 90 degrees have handles on the top and it would be like 3 pieces think book hanging from its spine with a single page maybe for visual idea :)

the two ends would hold the bamboo table top the middle part would be where you could slide the IGT frame down into and the sides would have those loop things on one side and on the other would be some pockets for the center pieces

kinda hard to describe :) hahahahah but stuff like this always gets my brain rolling :)
