I will agree with this if you do big chunks of meat like nice rib eye :)
4 burgers is tight but can work but steaks are 1 or 2 max and are not optimum :)

its a great little unit if I was to do again I would get the next model or so up or try going more radical like soul did http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...e-BBQ-Charcoal-to-Infrared-Propane-Conversion

it is great for size etc.. the heat issue I can do things but its right on the edge and if I was at any elevation in cooler weather not sure it would be my first choice for thick steaks but for corn on the cobb or hot dogs brats etc.. does the job

what I have found is the partner steel griddle is nice and a alternate not the same as grilling but still does the job and the grill can be used to finish it off kinda thing get some flare up taste onto the meat etc..

someone was saying about using the griddles on a good BBQ unit in some ways a nice gas BBQ grill that could set in flush and use a griddle on it would be cool option to that way you could move it over depending on what your needs are 2 burners or grill or griddle and one or the other :) even better would be a surface that the griddle could go half and half on and allow a bit of open grill and one burner :)

I have thought of getting a infared burner like soul got and try to rig it into my small grill though :) cant hurt to try

I also like Honu's Magma Trail grill setup, but I think I'd want one that gets hotter. I'll research some more.

The latest and greatest. This version of the IGT strap system allows you to attach legs to the IGT when they are too long to fit inside the space in the IGT.this one holds 14 legs. With a little tinkering I might be able to do 16. The photos show the versatility of the system.

Just got my first piece of Snow Peak gear... The Baja Burner. They sure know how to make an impression, now I want more... Lots more.
