Those table inserts are the POOP! Looks like I need to make longer straps! Lol. (Kidding)
I was contemplating finding a stainless tub/sink insert for the IGT. I guess they solved that problem!?

so maybe this modified to hold the BBQ lid

Got my IGT webbing kit from Yuman and coming from someone equally as anal and with a keen eye for detail, this kit is superb. It blows the Snow Peak Carrying Case out of the water and makes it obsolete.

It keeps everything together tight and rattle free (Yuman also makes some special inserts/cord that keeps the leg attach mechanisms on the table itself from rattling too if that bothers you. This was only a minor annoyance to me. What really annoyed me before were the legs rattling and crashing into the IGT and the bamboo table while in the Snow Peak Carry Case. With the straps that you get from Yuman, it holds everything nicely together as one unit. Brilliant.

The straps that hold the legs together actually wrap around the frame and provides a nice cushion so that the bamboo table isn't rubbing against the metal table. The straps that hold the bamboo table to the IGT as well as the carry handle actually has tabs like this:

They slide into the side of the table like this:

As you know, the entire package is quite hefty and if you are worried about the nylon tabs slipping through the side slots, I assure you this will not happen.

Like I said, build quality is excellent: the cut ends of the webbing are professionally sealed to prevent fraying. Yuman must use a commercially made nylon cutter; no candle burn marks here! At first looking at the previous posts, I thought the ring that the 2 inch nylon passes through to cinch the bamboo table down was made of plastic. It is made of metal! Yay! And it is designed so that it does not make contact with the bamboo table at all thus preventing scratches!

Only suggestions are as follows:

1. The webbing material is somewhat inconsistent:
az58.jpg

The handle seems to be made of a thinner webbing material which causes the handle to slide towards one end of the table while you're carrying it- potentially causing damage to the sagging end by it crashing onto the ground. Only suggestion is to make the webbing material for the handle out of thicker webbing like the rest of the straps which are hard to insert at first, but become easier after some use. Yuman suggests to place the straps that hold the legs closer to the handle to prevent this from happening.

2. Please make a shoulder strap. I figure 2 ways about this: make a sling with the two ends sliding into the side of the table and the existing straps preventing it from sliding too close together. Or the second thought is to sew a D-ring onto the bamboo table straps closest to the tabs and any existing shoulder strap can be used to quickly attach to it. This can be useful to secure the whole setup to your vehicle too!

3. Please figure a way to attach these side table inserts to the whole setup:

Yuman, I was thinking of creating a set of ministraps just to keep the 4 side tables together as 1 unit. What do you think? I have no idea why they discontinued the 4U length side table attachment. Shame.

Anyways 2 thumbs up for this system that Yuman designed. I thought of doing something like this a few years ago and before buying one from Yuman, I went to see if I could make one for cheaper: you can't. The price of webbing is expensive, then you have to get matching colored velcro etc etc. Not to mention time. Buy this kit from Yuman. It is the best thing for your IGT setup.

Dr. Ble, thanks for the thorough review and constructive criticism. I apologize for the handle webbing. If you want to send it back I'd be happy to replace it. I'm embarrassed for not noticing. I'll see what I can come up with for the slide tables. I have the long ones and was contemplating getting shorter ones. Lol. I'll also look into making a shoulder strap. ;)

For anyone wanting a set I have 2 built up and ready to go. PM me for details and options. Thanks again to everyone who helped make my ideas a success.

Fits like a glove!! With everything all strapped together it fits perfectly in the space behind the action packers and on the slide out. 20131228_150720.jpg20131228_150702.jpg20131228_150740.jpg20131228_151555.jpg20131228_151545.jpg

have one what were ya curious about ?

debating about selling it ? mainly the way we have the new river rafting pantry thing we got our setup has changed again ? but its kinda handy for breads and things the wire is a bit thin to support heavy pans and such IMHO anyway aluminum ones would be OK

so for us its more a pantry setup we used inside our tent some had thought about also using it to store the lids and stuff when cooking but also wanted a side thing like a few posts above or something ?

packs pretty flat and gives some storage for foods etc..

Anyone here have any input/photos/experience with the IGT hanging shelf?

Broke in my Snow Peak gear over the weekend. The addiction spreads quickly as I initially intended only to purchase the Baja burner. I ordered the wind screen last minute and it turned out to be a necessity.

Until I order the BBQ box, the Esbit folding BBQ actually works fairly well here.

I ordered a Kovea adapter for the option to use 1lb cylinders. Here's my simply solution for using them in the IGT. It's a small carpenters pouch from Home Depot that holds the propane cylinder perfectly.

The large one also holds my 5lb cylinder perfectly. Makes for easier storage/transport.
