Sounds good. There is a place in the White Mountains East of Bishop that is fun for both. The area is like Joshua Tree except at 9k feet. Lots of new climbs to do on virgin rock.

I was out at JT climbing in the Indian Cove area last weekend. The weather's finally cooling down! I'll probably be there this weekend as well.

We'll be in JTree this weekend if anyone is heading out. Leaving OC on Friday morning and entering the park on the Berdoo Canyon trail. Camping in Ryan most likely. Possibly a Sheep's Pass group site. I have a white FZJ80 with RTT if anyone happens to see us and wants to say hi.

I'm way, way out of practice (read: shape), but I make a great ... uhhh .... "belay anchor". But, I'm still up for getting back into it. I have shoes and a harness, but that is pretty much it these days. I know you have a killer schedule (time off during the week and in big chunks), but during the weekends, I'd love to join when I can.

Tyler,

I'll remember to contact you if I head out to Joshua Tree this winter.

I'm heading out to JT tomorrow for 3 days of climbing and camping. Not sure yet where I'll be but if you see a silver sportsmobile it's probably me.

I'd love to meet up with any of you climbers out there. I will be out west this summer towards the end. I plan on trying to do a lot of climbing on the trip. A friend and I are planning on doing the Pan-Am. You can find the thread going under "It's our turn for the Pan-Am" It would be awesome to meet up with whoever all the way down!

I live in valencia and frequent the san gabriels canyoneering. Starting to get into climbing, comfortable with 5.7 and looking to push it.

Anyone going to Stoney Point feel free to pm me. I am almost always free on weekends if I am not already committed to an outdoor activity.

I would love to go out to JT over one of the upcoming weekends in March or April to climb and enjoy the wildflower blooms.
