So for the maybe sexist remark.. Cole was listing the reasons that the vanagon wasn't a good choice for me, and one of those items was "SHE wants to "shuttle" other kayakers up the river"... or something like that. Since the vanagon is a great shuttle rig, I guess I don't see the point you were trying to make? And by capitalizing "SHE" it sounds like you're making a point of me being female, and that's why it sounds sexist... that's all... I'm not hugely offended or anything, but I still don't see your point.
I'm
I did put an offer on the vanagon and then later reneged after a long conversation with my dad...
If there was capitalization of "she" then it was an autocorrection fault. :coffeedrink: Damn phones! :coffeedrink: The point was "probably" the lack of great roof space and seating. It was just a list of items YOU had listed as criteria for a van purchase.
hey no problem... it has the longest bars you can get on there, I think, and seatbelts for 6... nothing else I was looking at has come close to that kind of seating capacity... if you're talking about legal capacity anyway....
Alright....I'm curious! What was dad's take on this?
felt pretty bad going back on my offer, but i was torn... and i figure if i'm not totally sure, then i probably shouldn't buy it. it's a lot of money and a big decision.
I know you liked it! But if it wasn't right, then move on!
Obviously there was a lot of pushback on that van from many people? Just means a better option is around the corner!
