SoCal Tear Drop Owners! Post up!

I have the same trailer from Treeline in Petaluma pulled with a 2013 Jeep JKU and Max Coupler hitch. Last year I traveled the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route, including an excursion through the Lockhart Basin south of Moab. There were several sketchy sections and the trailer performed well. Where the Jeep went, the trailer followed. No problems with clearance. I don't have a water tank.

Hope this helps.

Tennessee Krawler

Our 459 Krawler was made by Great Lakes Teardrops, a regional manufaturer for So Cal, and delivered April 2015. I had suffered thru having a deposit with Ashley at Moby1 for a year and just didin't have a feeling my trailer would ever be built. Demanded my deposit to be returned and went to So Cal. Andy, at Great Lake Teardrops LLC produced our 459 Krawler in 3 months total to an exceptional standard.

With a trip out West this summer, the Krawler already has many nights of use. We're Camping this year and not waiting on a list...

A Gathering? Would it be Teardrops Only?

I have an AT Horizon and I really like to idea of a gathering. Would anyone be interested in doing the old stage coach trail from Flagstaff to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It would be a simple overnighter. I have a SoCal but it is not an off road version and it gets lots of use behind Mo's Honda Pilot.

Anyhow, give it a thought about a gathering, it would be relatively easy to put together.

Next Week - Voyager (Durango SoCal manufacturer)

Been working with Mike Mills at Voyager. Seems like a super nice guy. Ordered in June, ready for pickup next week.

Rather basic Sierra but with extended tongue, chassis upgrade, Max Coupler and 30" tires to match my tow vehicle. We don't rock crawl, but spend a lot of time on rutted, ill-maintained, off-camber BLM and Forest Service roads hiking and hunting with our five dog pack.

Has anyone had SoCal install a ClimateRight AC unit? Looking for pictures/options.

I'm having one installed in mine but no report of usage yet as my trailer is being built. But living in Texas I knew I would need an A/C unit.

Just put my Sierra 4.5 order in with Treeline Teardrops. Pretty much fully loaded. Should pick up in March/April. Tom is outstanding to work with and we are looking forward to the new adventure!

Any of you guys with a SoCal use it in wet conditions yet?

Just curious if anyone has any leak or water issues. I know trailers can be a pain sometimes. And I know of some other companies have had this issue before.
