Sourcing Parts

So, here's a question for everyone. Where do you get your used parts from? I always try to keep my ear to the ground for any local monteros, but being in the south, they are few and far between -- specifically Gen 3s. I'm fixing to start hunting for a 3.8l engine and transmission for my Gen 3 so I can do a full refresh build without having to keep it in the shop forever. Does anyone have a lead on where to pick up engines?

I usually have access to Monteros for parts, living in the 4wd mecca of the country provides many for the salvage yards, and Fastenal is reasonable for shipping.

I use the Pick-n-Pull yards that are near home.
As you stated, the Gen. III rigs are fairly rare, but do show up now and again.

I have occasionally had luck with eBay in the past. Just watch the shipping costs for larger items.
