What I mean by the other snorkel is this: another useless mod that many love and others hate.

I don't hate stickers, but I'm afraid to become a Sticker Man because once you start, you can't stop. You must go all the way. Plus, you have to be selective on what you display.

So, are you into stickers? Post a photo of your collection or your favorites. Keep 'em limited to off-highway related vehicles, por favor. You can consider challenging this rule if you have a photo of a really, really, really funny one.

I love BX's Taco. And Roseann has some really sweet safari style stickers on her Toyota, too. Well, then there's Scotty doing his shameless self promotion, but we love him anyway. Photos of these are attached.

I've never liked them on my truck but I still like them. So I've taken to putting them on the kitchen bin as an alternative. :)

Only put sponsors stickers on. So at the moment the truck only sports some Pennzoil stickers and a couple of northeast british parts stickers. To me stickers are the same as say paying for a coca-cola T-shirt or say a chevrolet (or Land Rover) jacket. Why would I want to pay to advertize someones product ;)

I agree with that, I don't like to advertize for someones product unless I use it and really endorse it or it's a sponsor as you also mentionned.
That being said, I have two stickers on my truck right now. The Expo sticker and a small Warn sticker. The others are being collected for the time being.

Cheers ,

I agree as well. Unless they're paying you or you highly endorse their product.

I have two stickers on my rock buggy- Marlin Crawler and Longfield axles. Neither one payes me, but without those two, Toyota rockcrawling would not even be possible.

The only sticker I have on my Taco says ExpeditionPortal.com :sombrero:

I removed most of the stickers on my buggy from the previous owner. It's not a sponsored rig so I just went with my own paint scheme. On the other hand, my helmet is covered with stickers. Mostly kid stuff like monster trucks, words like "crash, mangle, and speed", and a flaming nitro cat. It's just for fun.

Stickers are not as bad as snorkels. They are usually free with gear you buy, and if done tastefully, they can add a certain level of personalization to your vehicle...for free. But IMO, it is very easy to go overboard with them. Looking at Scotts taco, it is over the top, but he has a good reason for it (just like his snorkel)...it draws attention to the vehicle, which is important for his sponsers. Roseann hasn't gone overboard, and for those of us who know her, the few steeeeekers she has makes her truck recognizable without making it stand out.

So I didn't vote...you need an additional option: "steekers, like corn dogs, are OK in moderation but one must be careful to not become addicted---unless said steekers pay for the corn dogs, in which case steeker-on!"

Despite being one who "manufactures" stickers, I do not like them on my vehicle. It is for this reason that I offer the clear ExPo decals for those of you who feel the same way. ;)

I don't do stickers generally. I did add one TLCA sticker to each side of my FJ40 on the side air vents, but aside from that a "pax" on stickers for my vehicles!

This has been enlightening fellas. I posted BX's, Roseann's and Scott's photos because I thought these were all "enviable" uses of stickers. The BX truck looks like a perfect extension of him. It's just cool.

And I totally approve of Roseann's rhinos and zebras. Hell, and the Tanzanian (I think) flag on the passenger side.

But I just don't know if I can bring myself to put a sticker on my vehicle. But I might have to.....

Well, the only sticker so far on my truck is from Jack Silberman's site (many of us here know him) www.4wdtrips.net. Very tasteful and well done. And, one of these days I will have my ExPo sticker. I just have to decide on which color, and which size as I am not sure where I want to put it yet. But, in general I am not a huge fan of putting stickers on my truck. I used to be dead against it until I saw the stickers Jack was putting out, and I had to have one. The same with Chris and the ExPo stickers. I do not mind advertising for these two great sites as they are both filled with great information and great members, and the moderators and administrators are outstading as well.

Aaron, I'm with you. Sometimes the right one looks right. I feel like it's easy to over do the web url stickers because there are so many out there. I have yet to visit a website I saw plastered on some dude's car or truck. Or SUV. And seriously Chris's expo doo-dads kinda got me thinking since they aren't obnoxiously large. (Chris, that's a thumbs up).
