Ok so I’ll start w/ the snowy scene. I was heading to a cousin’s cabin (The hood surfer), I turned a corner a little to quick thinking I would do some james bond drift but instead I just boated into this snow drift… It seams pathetic but I’m actually hooked up with the snow enough to not let my all terrains to move me but that’s what I get for getting the 2wd.

Next this nice mud hole. Like a lot of you have said the experience and the group coming together was worth it all.

I crossed this little stream to grab some good firewood on the other side. After crossing I made the mistake of turning around and stopping right in front of the stream pointed downhill. I didn’t want to cross at this section but because I pointed downhill I couldn’t back up on the loose soil so I rambo’ed it and tried flooring it to get back through the stream. I didn’t make it…. After multiple attempts from passing quads/side by sides I finally went and asked a near by camper. He wasn’t thrilled but he gave the little Toyota a pull. Freedom was celebrated w/ a roost after crossing the shallow part of the stream again.

Lastly was I finally got my 4x4 and my friend and I were out in a desert close to our house. I decided to give this little hill a blind roll and this pipe stopped me cold. My friend in his explorer pulled me off the hill but I think blew his front diff in the process. Fun times!

I found this stuck along the Nooksack river in WA.

I have the same truck (with 35's also) but learned AT tires are useless in WA. after getting stuck in the mud.

My buddy and I spent 3 days MTB'ing White Rim Road in UT. My GF drove his bone stock Xterra 4WD as chase. After a night of heavy rain, we racked the bikes and hopped in the car to avoid some mud. Didn't turn out so well. But I wouldn't have done any better if I was driving.

Hiked up a ways and found some friendly campers to give us a pull. Apparently a tow truck had already yanked a couple people earlier.

Ended up having to ride through it anyway to go back and look for a missing camera. That sucked. I think my bike doubled in weight. This is after shaking off the mud off:

I find it intresting that the majority of stuck pictures involve mud. I wish I had pictures of when I was stuck high centered or bumper/bumper high and stuck, but alas, I was recovering, not snapping.

Thanks for sharing guys, great thread. Makes me want to say, "Yup, now that is stuck"

Last weekend we visited City of Rocks National Reserve with Patrick (JeepinBear) and his wife. Emery Pass was ‘impassable' due to snow, so we headed there right away. Patrick made it through on the first try, thanks to his 35's and lockers, while I ended up ripping off the rear portion of my skid plate in the snow backing down from the top.

After removing the skid plate, having lunch, and taking in the sights we tried to make it through one more time. The route had turned to slush, and my open diffs could not handle it and I got stuck. After trying to dig my way out, while watching a big yellow jeep blaze a new trail through the drift, I lamented and accepted to be pulled out.

I eventually made it, unassisted, to the top using the new trail.

Got stuck for a few minutes when I slid off the trail. Got out of the ditch with a little skinny pedal and some maneuvering. :smiley_drive:
