Supertramp Paragon - Turnkey camper - Hardsided camper and 8' bed pickup

Is the Paragon on a F350 Cab and Chassis or on the pickup truck version?

I heard back and STC has confirmed that the Paragon is on the regular pickup chassis with bed removed.

So not on the 'cab and chassis' version which has the narrow (34") straight-frame rails (with open C channel behind the cab rather than fully boxed), detuned engines and heavier-duty rear suspension.

*And the more-centerline'd frame rails which allows for deeper under-frame-plane storage boxes.

I haven't priced them in awhile; are pickups less $ than cab-chassis, and/or easier to get? Since ST doesn't have under-frame-plane exterior storage, they may not see the value of the frame rails. Probably don't want de-tuned engines on a rig that will weigh 6tons or more. And no reason for them to give any money to Ford for the heavier-duty rear susp option when they're going to upgrade to Carli anyways. <shrug>

Not sure on the price or availability, but the F350 are still being build in a Lariat trim, but only the Supercrew configuration; Standard Cab and Supercab are only XT and XLT.
I would think most would prefer a non-detuned. As for suspension, the Carli upgrade comes with aftermarket springs, but without that package, the Paragon has OEM springs (though STC is fitting upgraded shocks, wheels and tires to all Paragon.

And another note on pickups, currently STC is only offering the Paragon as turnkey and so not fitting to an owner-provided pickup.

STC says the "Build and Price" section for the Paragon should be ready in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, if anyone wants the price/option list, ping them at info@supertrampcampers.com and they will send you one.
