Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

I picked up a pair of haggar g26 chinos from the target closeout here in Canada. I have two pairs of these now. Grey and tan colors. Both pairs are just like my old navy's. Super comfortable and durable.

I've seen lots of recommendations for the 5.11 Taclite Pro pants. Those are OK but what I like 100% better are the 5.11 Tactical Stryke pant. The main reason I like it over the taclite pro is that the cut is much more flattering. I'm not really an "athletic" build by any means, but the Taclite Pro was super baggy on me in the front and in the legs. Think pleated dress pants...way too baggy for my taste. The Stryke's legs are closer to regular-cut pants. The fabric on the Stryke is also stretchy and moves with you, plus the expandy waistband (I think the same as on the Taclite Pro) easily accommodates weight fluctuations or an IWB holster.

Other than that I'll throw an additional vote behind the Kuhl Renegade pants (super stretchy, breathable, and comfortable but maybe too "sporty"/technical for around town) and the Prana Zion pants (also super comfortable and stretchy but more normal looking).

I been wearing wranglers Riggs for 6 months now. Have 8 pairs and wear them 5 -7 days a week. I love them. Started out as work pants and now it just became the only pants I wear. I have a few cargo ones but didn't like them because of the cargo pockets. They are not easy to get to. The regular version I like mainly because my work iphone fits perfectly in that little pocket below the left butt pocket.

Comfortable pants and the fabric isnt thin like today's jeans kids are wearing. I'm only 30 years old but I like thicker material pants.

I brought all mine from Amazon. Hate going to the store.

I've been using the 5.11 Stryke pants for the past few months, and I think they're probably as good as anything out there. Not particularly windproof in this cold winter weather, but they're nice when it's warmer.

And if you're looking for a good belt to hold up those pants, I'd suggest the 5.11 tactical belt with metal buckle and reinforced webbing. Hard to get very excited about a belt, but these are pretty cool.
I like 5.11 gear, but don't own their belt. I do like the cobra belt from the original SOE.

I use snap on belts. No exposed metal so they don't scratch fenders when lean on them.
