I have a pair of those that are now 15 years old. They are ugly, waxy, not very comfortable and stand up by themselves. They also have never been washed. Been through lots of stuff and still work perfectly. Everything I have from Filson is amazing and worth the money in my opinion. The old Paramount went to 36"; the new ones don't. Didn't sell enough.
The old ones fit great, btw. But very very light and "trim fit".
Anyone?
The ones I tried on weren't stiff at all. They were heavier than typical zip-off fishing pants but lighter than bdu material. Is the "cut" bad or are they just stiff gophere?
I bought a few pair of these this Summer, two pair in ripstop 65/35 and one in5.5 Oz moisture-wicking nylon. They are Tru-Spec 24/7 Eclipse Pants. So far I really like them. Careful shopping will find them well under $50 bucks.

These look like the pants you would bend the iPhone 6+ when you sat down. ( insert Eddy Murphy laugh ) No seriously, I wear the Riggs Wranglers that get my vote. I weld sometimes and don't always think to change. I would catch my ******** on fire. These pants with the double layer and ripstop camo my mistakes. My wife is getting sensitive to all my clothes having little holes.
What the heck is the rope at the rear pocket for anyway??
