I checked that out at a show last year (don't recall which one). It is nice.

Nothing wrong with the go-fast parts. :rally_guys:

Dame,

and I thought I was done with the suspension in my truck. I wonder how it would handle the weight of a fully loaded expedition truck.

You can opt for leaf springs from deaver too... Im sure it would save you a grand...

Gone down the Deaver road with a 10 and 12 pack. If I was going to to do this conversion I would go coils at the back and then long travel airbags for the weight. I'm sure at FOX they would have a few different springs rates to for the shock.

I wonder how the body roll would be on a new Tacoma with this kit without a sway bar on the back of the truck ( for on road performance )? Leafs are certainly more solid without a sway bar than coil overs.

Thoughts anybody?

This is just my speculation coming from a racing background, but I would think that the body roll could be virtually eliminated with proper tuning from a good shock. My race bikes have independently adjustable high speed and low speed compression damping. By increasing the low speed, suspension movement from weight shifts is almost nil.
This assumes that the kit includes a very highend shock

I would assume since the 05+ Tacomas have a pretty large sway bar on the front thats all one would need to street driving, there's no use for another at the back.
I know that Trophy trucks use a rear sway bar and not one on the front. Now I know my truck is not a trophy truck, but the suspension concepts would be the same, by moving the sway bar from the back to the front.

Hopefully that makes sense?
