Nope, they said this is a one off set unless you want to drop your rig off for about 5 weeks.

Interesting. But I guess they do seem pretty busy with all of their other bumper lines. Either way, they look so good on your Cruiser, and they are even cooler knowing that your the only one running them!

Thank you for the kind words everyone.

So we received a little snow this weekend and my son wanted to make a snow man. Well, the snow at my house was of course no good and we "had" to take a ride up in the mountains to see if we could find better snow... We did find some, but still too cold to make a good snow man. On a positive note these tires really hook up good in the snow. It is towards the end of hunting season up here and the roads are really beat to crap, so I aired the tires down to 10 psi again to smooth out the washboards. These tires are great, they have a very positive grip and even in the areas we should not have been, pulled right through, I can't say enough how happy I am with these tires. In all the environments I have had them in so far they have far exceeded my expectations.

Pretty Cool!,,,errr, cold I guess. Nice that those tires hook up real well! (You'll need them over there in the tundra of Idaho!) Any idea on the fuel mileage of the rig so far? Not that I guess it matters for that type of service, but I'm curious. My 40 gets around 11.5 if I'm lucky and traveling down hill..wondered what the extra 2 door penalty would be if any..

Cheers!

On the 1000 miles we drove to Moab and back the Cruiser averaged right at 15 mpg on the highway/freeway keeping right about 70 mph. Around town I drive it like a red blooded american male that thinks he drives a hot rod, it gets about 12 mpg. Keep in mind she does weigh in at a hefty 6000 pounds, so not too bad in my mind.

Not bad at all actually...must be the aerodynamics...
Thanks for the info and the thread...fun to follow along and dream!

Cheers!

I just got 14.7mpg on my last tank. Best I've gotten yet. All I did was rebuild the front end. I'm gonna wax it. That should be good for another 1mpg.

That's funny... I used to drag race with a guy that would wax his windows and everything, said it was good for atleast a second or two!

Great pics, great times and I agree that October is the best time to be in Moab. Especially with the rain right? Lol. As for the holes on the sides of the bumpers? Still haven't told us.

They look to be Hi-Lift jaking points.

I knows and nobody has guessed right yet. He was testing them tonight when he sent me a text so maybe he will say what they are for soon...

PS, I got to drive it last weekend. Kicking myself in the ******** now for not getting an 80-series years ago!

OK, I will let the cat out of the bag... I had some 1.25" tubeing turned down about ten thosandth and I put a rod in the and one in the back. I welded some hooks on to them so I can HANG MY HAMMOCK off it! It works awesome and while all the other goobers are ********** around with there RTT, I going to be napping in my hammock. No need for trees or anything, I will be swinging on a beach in Baja chillin, or hell anywhere. I really want to get a Clark Jungle Hammock one of these days so I will have a complete shelter in minutes.
I am looking at the NX-250 http://www.junglehammock.com/models/nx250/index.php

On a side note, my dad put together a slide show from our trip to Moab, it is killer, but I can't post it because he made it a .exe file... Damn it!

Crappy Cell phone Pics but you get the idea...
