Honu
lost on the mainland
for the small foot problem of digging in to the ground which I had happen I drilled out some golf balls works great while they are on a tarp here on the ground they don't dig in anymore and of course still fit in the bag just fine
1/2 inch drill bit tight enough they are not coming off take a bit to pull them off and they come off with a nice POP
I leave them on all the time though
one cool mod I did have to get some more pix but the setup works amazing for a head rest and again all packs in the bag no problems
near the base of the rear legs I use a piece of bilge hose or large hose that has the braided stuff inside sure it has other names uses
drill again 1/2 inch hole close to edge first I put the tube in a clamp and drilled the holes so when its on won't slip up or down took a few things to try from wood to PVC pipe other plastics etc.. this turned out the easiest and best so far from items I had and might say a thick piece of rubber might also work
then up near the top of the chair I just use velcro tape to hold the poles but do them to the outside of the pole then just use the bag stretched between the poles adjust to your head height !
pointing the bottom part or tip in to the inside of the poles your head is a bit more upright good for chatting with others around the fire
turn them to the outside and a bit more laid back don't have it in this pick but I used a piece of para cord to hold them in place since my golf ball mod they don't need the para cord
I am going to get some aluminum shaft material though so its a bit lighter they tend to fall back sometimes why its leaning forward but try it if you have one of these chairs !!!! truly you can fall asleep in them with this mod
will be doing a more detailed video of some close ups soon but sure ya get the idea
also plan on sewing some shade cloth mesh head rest setup for mine and not always use the bag as it can slip a bit when readjusting but to only have a piece of material on the legs trek poles and the bag no extra stuff it works
