Indeed, and good safety note.

Figuring out the plumbing on a "utilities box" is fun. Fuel in/out, coolant in/out, air in/out, and wiring in/out. Good times!

Sounds like you need to add some hydraulic fluid and you'll have a big ol' party.

I lost track of how many times I showed my wife the various awesome pieces of your van while perusing the build last night. Truly amazing stuff, makes my little 92 look like POS. Keep it up sir.

Cheers Gents!

Not a lot of progress to report on lately, been stuck in the doldrums of plumbing and wiring... I prefer the design and fab side of builds, finishing is the hard part!

The batteries, espar, and compressor are finally plumbed though. Now it's time to make the electrical switch/control panel.

Lots of bulkhead fun:

Very nice, similar to mine but without the muffler. It wasn't in stock when I ordered the Espar...
Have you tried without it, if so how much quieter is it with the muffler in place ?

I haven't, but heard they are loud. Hopefully the sealed storage will minimize the espar wake-up alarm!

Naaa it's not loud at all... on start up when in boost/high it's noticeable from the outside but hardly annoying or disturbing. But once it achieves the desired inside temps it's extremely quiet.
I have a video on YouTube, I'll get the link. It's a bad video but should give you an idea on the sound levels.

Finally seeing some light at the end of the plumbing wiring and compartment tunnel. Contorting around to get all the fasteners right sucks!

I need more formica... Then all that's left will be the cookware drawer under the sink and the switch/breaker panel.
