Looks Great! haven't seen your truck around in A while. I used to see you from time to time. I sold you something a few years back when you had the canopy and RTT.

I'm trying to nail down how I want to latch all the doors (2 side, one rear)

Does anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking either trigger latches or over center latches. either way Id like them all to be lockable and flush would sure be slick. Does anyone have any experience with these types?

The ambulances that I work on use the first type for some of the interior compartments, they work pretty well. They are a bit awkward to open sometimes because of the double action of pushing the button (bottom part) and then pulling out the door with the upper one. Look nice and are a flush mount. Plus I have yet to see a broken one and we beat our stuff.

Another think I'm trying to source is some sort of flush mounting plug that I can mount to the camper and run my Aux Batter cable through to the fuse box. Id like it to be locking so it can't pop loose while driving but I would also like it to be able to disconect the camper when I need to remove it. I was thinking some type of rv plug but many of them are for temorary use.

Try something like this

I cant find it right now but they have some that lock with a type of cam lock latch. I have on on a floor cleaning machine.

Something like that yes, however I woudl like to find one that has a "socket" that flush mounts to the camper and then the cable would have a 90 degree plug. Im hoping to route the aux battery cable I have thats under the flatbed up between the cab and the camper and essentially hide the power between the two. Something much exist like this..... I hope

Edit. this is the closest Ive been able to come but I need something that plugs in at 90 degree angle for clearence issues.

Awesome! Looks like an aluminum boat in the background and some sort of powerhead sitting on the bench.:) Is that the wooldridge boat facility where your custome topper is being built?
Cam-shaft.

where did you find those great pop out door latches.... I am questioning my choice of rotary latches.... simply because of the challenge of installation.

I love the aluminum frameless design!

If a buddy of mines shop up in Bellingham Wa. He does alot of aluminum and stainless boat building as well as other custom fabrication projects. I have worked with him before and between the two of us things seem to get done pretty smoothly.

Ill give away one of my source secrets. If you ever need latches, gas struts, drawer sliders ect... http://www.allegiscorp.com has some pretty awesome stuff. Most of it is not cheap but the quality is always excelent.

Just thought I would throw up some pictures of taking the old flippac apart. Its pretty interesting to see how they are made.
