Good info on the kit. I have one, but won't use it unless my spare is punctured also. Its always better to have a shop plug and patch the tire than it is to use an emergency 4x4 kit. So in my use, its a last resort tool. I agree with the OP on the reduced mobility part though.

Had my ARB kit for a few years. Got couple of chances to use it this year. Neither was on the trail. Wife's truck had a flat and neighbour's van had a flat. Nails in both cases. Easy to use.

With regards to the plastic handles in other kits - read somewhere of the handle breaking under stress and the only thing that saved the user's hand was the heavy glove being worn.
