Looks good, now that the fridge is moved to the bed, is it possible to move the dogs to the cab? Would they fit now there isn't a fridge taking up space?

With an averaged sized dog, yes. With mine, no.

The smaller of our two (Maya) is 75 lbs and would fit back there just fine; however, she is extremely energetic and never settles down during a car ride. having her in the back is the only safe location (distraction wise) for us. Now, Chester will settle down once we get on the road, but is physically too large to be comfortable in the extra cab. I've done it before, but he can't get comfortable and will, like Maya, become a distraction. Both of them in the cab would be a madhouse.

Got ya, I once had a 135 lb. lab/ox mix & he didn't fit in my jeep all that good, the only way we could do it was with the top down. He would rest his chin on the roll bars.

The talk about your dog and the rollbar remind me of this picture. Chester in the bed with the old RTT off the rack.

Looks great, Mark. Can't wait to fire up the table saw! If you need the wood ordered, I think I can get it through work, unless you know of a place where we can get Baltic Birch plywood.

Thanks, Mitch. Sounds like a plan... I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to find Baltic Birch.

Got hardware on the way home today. See if I can get this thing mounted tonight.

I often only put up pictures of mods in here and forget to add trips and events, so here are some from last weekends trip to Big Bear.

What a great trip, and all of us did really well on the trails... No winching, and no damage... And that's saying quite a bit being that we had a STOCK Tacoma in our group with only light trail goodyears on it!

Truck is looking awesome on the outside, it's time we put some work on the inside, since we're chilling on the trips for a little bit.

Agreed. With the fridge in place it's time to measure again for the cabinet work.

While we're on the topic of the fridge being in place. I added a goodie from Slee Off-Road.

I wasn't real happy with the factory fridge tie-downs included with the slide. The nylon straps couldn't be tightened easily and always had a bit of slack. The Slee fridge tie-down brackets are designed to attach using the same screw location as the factory handles. Longer stainless steel hardware is included for the extra width of the brackets. They provide a solid mount for use of turnbuckles to securely anchor the fridge.

The Flip-pac interior build kicked off over the weekend. Nothing much to show as no wood has been harmed yet. 4RunAmok and I did a bunch of measuring and the wiring for the house power (from AT) was completely redone. Now finishing up the power for the fridge and other planned accessories will be quick and easy with help of the Blue Sea Systems fuse block installed in the bed. Mitch took over the majority of the wiring and I wasn't exactly going to push him out of the way. I'm not a big fan of running wire due to how tedious my "wire OCD" makes the job.

I was more than happy to have Mitch doing the work because he:

1. Likes wiring.

2. Is very good at it.

3. His OCD surpasses mine.
:peepwall:

A big thank you, as always, goes out to him. Being in the business of vehicle modification, his expertise will continue to ensure the work only needs to be done once.

No, pictures for now. The truck is currently getting an upgrade from a local fabricator... more to follow upon its return.
