how much work/time to lift the Body from Chassis?

Hi Chris,
I don´t want to go too off topic- I was not able to find a good source for this.

Problem is: Silent blocks/or connection from Body to Chassis is rusty and needs to be fixed. Therefor Body will probably needed to be lifted. As you are almost the only person from I´ve seen pictures with a lifted body I would like to ask you how much work it is. How much time does it take?
- What needs to be done, besides the 6 blocks?
- brakelines unfixed
- Steering
- fuel line
- electronic lines(which ones?)
...

it´s a 1994 Quigley [so far- untill I can do better(time and money) :) ]

btw way anyone´s comment is welcome on this topic.

No issues with highjacking here! As long as it has to do with a 4x4 van I'm good!

Hardest part replacing the body mounts is the almost always rusted bolts. If the van has an interior it will need to be removed to gain access to the body bolts. If they come loose, great. I've had to cut many of them off. Once the bolts are out, you don't need to lift the body from the frame much to change the mounts. So, I would bother disconnecting everything. The proper body mounts and hardware is only available from Ford so expect to pay north of 600 for an EB van.

Thanks,
I guess that´s what I am dealing with. What you mean with "proper body mounts" is the part above the silent mount- taking the mount to be fixed to the body traverse? I´ve not seen photos of mine yet.

[It´s a little theoretic sadly. I am still waiting for my rig :-( The lucky part is, I was able to find the only availible 4x4 E350 in Germany. But it still needs some official documents to get German license ...]

What I mean by "proper" is Ford OE mounts. I've seen guys try to adapt other body mounts to save $$ and I don't think thats a good idea for such an important part.
