Thanks for the reminder :)

It was supposed to be back from paint today. The bed surface has been line-x'd, and the front bumper should be finished up late this week/early next. I put it on hold so we can get V3 done. Once it's back, I just have to finish up the wiring and the bed will be done. I'll post pics/info asap.

Nice builds here Chris.Soon as I get my motorcycle finished up this weekend(I hope,if the heat lets up),I am coming your way next week.I give ya a buzz be fore I leave.

Oh,I've been meaning to ask you.Have you ever seen the TTB conversions and radius arm conversion done on the 150 and 250 vans?I used to repair that crap when I worked at Brewer's 4x4.Nothing like putting a van on a lift and seeing a EB D44 under there.Makes you wonder why the front wheels have more offset than the rear.******** the first time I saw it.Oh yes,It came with a matching half hearted attempt at a top loader 4 speed and Tcase.I think it all came from a spruced up EB.

Thanks man.

I'm not a big TTB fan. They don't like to stay aligned, eat tires 3 meals a day, and just can't hold up as well as a good ol solid axle! Ozrockrat is comin by next week too, maybe we'll have a big 4x4 van party!

Here's a progress report on V3---- We've been super busy putting everything back together, taking full advantage of the body removal! Makes life MUCH easier. It's also given me the opportunity to take some great pictures of product. The new engine is in place (108K, dual alternator) We added new injectors, glow plugs & valve cover gasket/wiring, as well as all new accessories. The body mounts were shot, so a new set from Ford has finally arrived. Fully rebuilt tranny is back in, along with the NV271 t-case & shortened fuel tank. We cut the spare tire x-member for the new rear skid system, I changed the design slightly for even more space (every inch counts)

Monday will be a big day! I hope to have the body re installed, and look forward to the first crank! Then it's just rear gears & driveshafts! Here are some pics:

Big day @ the shop! The Ranger is back from paint, they laid some black to the bed & touched up the cab. Looks great with the aluminum in place, just have to finish some wiring to wrap it all up & then install the F bumper/lights.

We cranked V3 today, everything is good! Working out the bugs, and thankfully there aren't many.

V4 was a bust...... Even though the price was right, there were too many red flags for the year/mileage. The V4 search goes on.......

Too Bad about V4 but a smart guy I know once told me "Finding the perfect van can be tough, so take your time & get exactly what you want" and it turned out to be true.
