Yes & no. We're using a kit from Driven Diesel but it needs to be tweaked and modified a bit for the vans.

Maybe you could do a little video or write up on it sometime? With all that extra time you have just laying around gathering dust?

Our 9th production run of CK001 kits is underway, lots of hangers! We've been cranking out bumpers as fast as we can, one of these has some cool mods, looking forward to finishing it up.

This rig is for sale. A local customer bought our kit and installed themselves, then brought it to us for some fine tuning. 05 diesel 6.0, 8"+ lift, 38" Toyo MT's on Fuel wheels, dual 5160's up front with singles in the rear, UJOR front bumper with a Rigid 30" bar, UJOR Onboard air system, 4.56's, modified stock rear bumper with some more Rigids. Interior is nice too, has a big ol TV for entertainment!

Actually, being a diesel of that particular type, about 15K. Ok, maybe not, but 6.0s have a deserved reputation for being sink holes of money. In any case, there isn't a diesel out there (IMO) that warrants a 15K price premium, new or especially used.

I agree. When I bought my van new in '02, the 7.3 was a $6,000.00 option. Also in our area, diesel is now over A DOLLAR a gallon more than gas. Increased maint costs and wallet draining problems. . .no thanks. I'll take my gas snorting v-10 any day!

Come on guys, don't pollute the the Ujoint thread with a diesel vs gasser hijack.:( We all know a diesel is more expensive to own, operate, and maintain.

Now that I've bullet-proofed my 6.0 I expect to get another 200,000 out of it. Maybe injectors but the motor will likely outlast the body. I'm not sure the same could be said for a gasser but does it really matter? Will any of us own the same van in another 10 or 15 years?

Sorry I've been out in the woods for the weekend so no internet! A much needed break. That black van is going for 40k.

Took V4 & Th Sherpa to an annual camp out for guys, think this was the 41st year that they do it. Good times, lots of food & drink and a big ol fire.
