Ken in CA has been building up this killer rig for some time, appears to be in its element!

The wife and I needed some time away from the kids, REALLY needed. So we pointed V4 to the beach with the Sherpa and got to relax for a little while. Great weather, good food, good times with no screaming kids.

I live down here in Jacksonville NC. Just curious what beach you went to?

Man, the proportions on those RB passenger vans ... all Ujoint equipped with the low-profile bumper and all (V5, Ken's Van, Vandiana, etc) ... something about that is just so appealing. The contrast of the lighter body, with the dark windows and black wheels/bumpers/grill really works ... at least for me.

They really are super easy to drive off-pavement for such a "big rig." They simply don't feel that big--all a testament to Chris' engineering and dialing in of the susp geometry/spring rate/damping/etc.
I agree with you, although VANaconda's gunmetal grey color with the black accents was my first choice--just really difficult to find that color anywhere.

son of a b. I just bought an 05 6.0 last week and it is being shipped up next week, I guess I'll still have to build my own, hoping this diesel works out better than my 7.3. I really thought of going with the v10, but I know I would miss the diesel when towing. It's hard to beat that turbo for hills.

Private labeled goodness!
Look at how nicely and carefully packed that crate is. You guys continue to astonish me as to your paramount level of expertise, service and support. As someone in the auto industry, it's difficult to convey to most others as to how simply RARE these traits are anymore in this industry. I wish there were more like you guys, but at the same time I don't because those who work diligently to nail these details deserve the business and success--and it's obvious plenty of other business don't give a youknowwhat.
