UJOR Build Thread

You don't need to add any shims with your setup, it will be fine with the shaft as is. if you don't have a local driveline shop then yes, give Tom Woods, High Angle Driveline or equivalent a shout. I've dealt with Jessie @ Hi Angle many times, good guy and quality work.

The only time the rear pinion needs to be reset is when swapping to a Sterling 10.5.

Chris,
Im running a '02 Sportsmobile w/ 7.3L and Quigley 4x4 (I know, I know...) - I have seen that you have been running a DP tuner on a bunch of your builds. Any further thoughts and info on the tune(s) you've been setting the 7.3's up with? Can I get the tuner from you?? Mostly looking for a little extra oomph here in the mtns

Outstanding. One less thing to worry about and/or muck with.

Yes, we've been running DP Tuners in all of the 7.3's and I recently had him come up to live tune mine and one other. Big difference, wrote some cool new tunes that are better setup for the vans. You can def get the unit thru me and I would also recommend an EGT & tranny temp gauge.

We need moar pictars!

Hows this for ya???? Finished up the Sterling on the 7.3 SMB build. 4.10's, ARB

Moving along as usual, BVan engine work is done so we refreshed the front axle and cleaned everything up. Still bolting things to the 7.3 SMB but I couldn't wait any longer to put it on the ground.

Forgot to post this pic, our 1st (small) run of pass side lower u-bolt plates for DeQuig jobs. Makes to easier and returns the axle back to its original form as long as the Q van has a 99-04 style axle. Oice this is welded on we can use our standard u bolt plates/trac bar kit as well as a truck sway bar. No more custom u-bolt plates and the whole conversion is now easier for the DIY guys.
