I thought I recognized those rims. An old friend of mine had one of those conversion vans from the 90’s and the rims where part of the kit. That explains why I looked through all my old Ford literature and could not find them installed on any vans. Thanks for the pic Chris! :coffee:

Just picked this van up in SC. Heading back to the shop tomorrow, this rig will be here for a while! Big plans.

This van is getting the works as well, another fun build! 1st stage is engine work, general maintenance & axle building.

Those bumpers are sweet.I bet those will help make running over Hondas fell like a causal drive down a gravel road.:smiley_drive::xxrotflma

What?? A 6.0 that went 100K without ANY major engine problems? How is this possible?!!!? :D

From LA to NY, Pismo to OBX, FL to Yellowstone, Mojave rd to NYC and many points in between, Vanaconda has been a great rig. Am I done with it? We never are. So, before the ExPo in AZ big V will be getting some new wheels/tires, roof rack, sliders & some TLC here & there to get ready for the next 100K.

V4 is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally found the perfect (in my eyes) cab/chassis. The dash isn't trashed, frame is in excellent shape, it's the right wheelbase, and it's a 7.3. I've got big plans for this rig, and it will be a long build..... a time filler.

Dude, are you at all interested in selling the mirrors off of your ambo? I have been looking and looking for a set like that, wide enough to see around my box, and I can pull the dumb ones off of my doors before I get the rig painted. You are running a flatbed! I think those would look so out of scale on a flatbed…:)

I have noticed them on almost every ambo, RV, and u-haul I have seen, but have never seen a used set for sale.

Anybody else out there got a line on that kind? Not so interested in the superduty type, just want the single long arm, black, non power.

I think my yard has another set on an ambo there. I'll ck when I go out next week.

And the V4 mirrors will look fine once I fill the flat bed with something awesome! ;)

Chris, did you sell the factory wheels? I imagine shipping to CA would probably be cost prohibitive. Also do you know the weight rating (going on an EB Sportsmobile)?
