I am looking at the Wide Flow 32"x17". I was originally going with 11"x17",but I am not sure on either yet. Obviously, not for a van.

What rig do you have?
Did you see Ryan/FabLab's Batlbus a few pages back? That's a good look, IF the hood structure easily allows it(unless you want to cut up the hood framework, which I didn't).

I have a baby rig compared to your beast. I am overseas 300+ days a year, so I don't keep much other than toys at home. It's a Sidekick with 5.12 diffs, 4.24 t-case gears, twin stick for the t-case, riding on 31"s. I keep it at my place on Galveston island, next to my '39 Ford standard.

Whoa, way cool! Looks uber clean.
Are you having overheating issues?(I don't even remember what powerplant those have, 4cyl?)

It gets warmer than I want on slow trails in the middle of TX summers. This is just a 4 cylinder, but it is the wider frame that received a V6 in other markets. It will get a V6, if I keep it much longer.

It is tempting to switch back to a FJ80. The problem again, is I am overseas more than stateside.

Thanks guys! As I mentioned, looking back, would have been best to have done all 4 at the same time for even better placement in relation to each other, although with not wanting to cut into the frame support structure, the placement might not have been too much different than it is now.

Got my batteries replaced with the Interstate AGM's today--couldn't start the van to go home last night(it was majorly flooded in town), and I'd been having starting issues since mid-summer, progressively getting worse. The Schwab batteries(bit higher CA/CCA than the Interstate's actually) Brad had were ~4yrs old. My bro helped me(much easier with 4 hands than 2 with these beasts of batteries) during work today, in order to free the van from taking up shop space. We got the house battery out first, then the starter battery, that's when we saw it--ground cable for the starter battery came off the battery on it's own. Doh! That was the issue--somehow the terminal clamp had worked loose gradually over time--but you couldn't see it with the battery box installed. We installed the Interstates anyways since I have them, and this Schwab starter could be compromised by this time. Starts right up, must be my mind but it feels much crisper in terms of throttle response even around the block(if it was the house battery I could understand low voltage maybe messing with the FICM/inj's/etc, but I can't understand how the starter battery would cause muddled throttle response). Anyways, glad to have that crossed off the list.

Few pics from the procedure(battery box is after I wiped all the Utah dirt out of it, but since there was some surface rust, I shot them with satin Rustoleum. We used anti-seize on all fasteners going back in);

Next up is installing Tucker's slightly used lower grey OEM interior panels, customizing some holes to allow for d-ring tiedowns(using OEM seat bolt mounts on sides). It'll be nice to have OEM panels in. If anyone has RB passenger upper panels in light grey for sale, PM me!
I have one of John's last Door Talon kits to install--getting tired of the bungee cord as the alternative to the aft side cargo door.
Still working on my interior re-do plans. I'm on ver5 of the 2nd round of Sketchup's. It's been a challenging, but fun process. I'll post renditions soon.
Then some 85k maintenance.
Then SSBC brakes via UJOR and custom Hydroboost setup ala MG.
And then some more stuff on the revised list.
More to come......
