I am in need of a new wallet, the dog chewed it. I have not been happy with my last 3 wallets, and wonder if there are any exceptional wallets around, or, is a wallet just a wallet. Anyone have any ideas?
Haven't carried a true wallet since I was in high school. Cash in a money clip and necessary cards in a small folding leather business card holder.
Never understood the reason for carrying a big spine mis-aligning wallet in the back pocket like so many people do or the giant biker wallets with the chain attached. Personal preferences I guess.
Will be interested to hear what others do and why. :ylsmoke:
Don't often have cash, though.
You're married too?:victory:
I don't carry cash either. My wife does though. I just use my debit card. I plan out all my meals for the week so I am never left stranded at lunch time and make poor eating choices.I thought about posting that I leave it to my wife to carry the cash, but the truth is we have kids, two car loans, mortgage, student loans, and there simply is no cash!
No, really, debit cards are so much more convenient. The only need we have for cash is paying the neighbor kid to mow our lawn every other week.
Thanks for the link. I like that one.SunTzuNephew said:I've been using one of these since 1990:

I'm actually on my second, I wore out the first one around 2002 and replaced it. The replacement is still looking good and going strong.
Too many years of packing a wallet in my back pocket eventually led to some back and hip pain in my later years. Though the brand name escapes me at the moment, I bought the slimmest wallet to be had at a local high-end store and religiously keep it thinned out to the minimum needed contents. Just a couple of credit cards, ATM and DL, and as few small FRNs as possible.
The best thing I did was break the habit of back pocket wallet carry. It must have took a good six months to get comfortable with carrying a wallet in my left front pocket. Until I got used to it, I was always missing the lump in my back pocket and with panicked thought, "Oh !@#!, where's my wallet?. Oh yeah, in my left front pocket."
Breaking of old habits was well worth it - no more back or hip pains when sitting for long periods.
