what did you do to your trailer today?

Man I need a build thread on here...

All the accessories re-installed, and the fenders seam sealed and undercoated back on. All I need is to wire up the trailer lights and I am GTG. Well GTG over to Mikes @ Trekken Offroad to install the hinges and latches and the RTT that is!!

Drilled a drain hole in front of tub bottom so i can hose it out. Nice rubber plug fits in the hole. No more tilling trailer back to drain water-- whether hosing out or rainfall...

Good Stuff!
I am stoked to hear about this build, and glad that you are in contact with Mike. I should be installing my RTT this week or possibly this weekend? Looking forward to it!
Cheers'

Finished rehabbing the suspension and undercarriage yesterday. Painting is 99.9% complete, finally...except I ran out of spray on undercoat for the bottom of the tub. Oh well...easy to finish as I did all the corners and so on already. Oh and note to self, POR15 is really hard to get off your skin after it dries on!! Ugh

Working on putting a Kayak system on the trailer, also another bike rack. Headed out Wednesda to Sedona Fest and then on to Colorado for a few days in the woods. Going by myself this time so will be quite laid back. Will try to get pictures to you as I go. Be out about two weeks I think

Thanks guys... yes, the more I work on it the more I am liking the way it is turning out. I am supposed to haul it to a 4x4 Show and Grime (Westshore 4x4 in Victoria) next weekend... hopefully it is done by then? Today I got the 7 pin wiring box and the cable installed, and reattached the data plate. Now all that is left to get it road worthy again is to get the lights wired up and the side markers back on. Oh and maybe actually attach the lid too...lol. Need to check the wheel bearings too, one needs an adjustment as it is a wee bit loose.

I also put on the new rear shocks yesterday too. Napa Response over the counter, 15 minute install...and the old ones were pretty shot too. They look very...blue. Should be on the road this week!!

I picked up 2 x 2000# screw adjust landing legs for side to side support, weld on style and removable while underway...50% off, only $22.00 each. Also picked up 2 x gas struts for lifting the lid. I think they are 100 pound each? Hard to tell, and not a lot of info online? 175# RTT and a 50# lid, should be ok...if not they are returnable, and they had TONS in stock in various sizes.

Oh and more ring terminals to complete my light wiring, which I need to do ASAP, Jeep and 4x4 show this weekend!!

Stripped it down to its jammies. Repaired the fender from Dawn, backing into it. Pulled the axle off.
Looking for some new parts..:)
