My first LR, back growing up in Africa, 40 years ago.

Good idea for a thread - I'll join in with my first Land Rover - a 1961 Series II that I bought in 1972.
It had a very rusty frame and a Ford 260 ci V-8 under the hood so it was capable of very Un-Rover like acceleration.



I kept it for about two years and then sold it and bought this 1967 SIIA pickup

Here's my first Land Rover:

1983 110 as I found it, and after the refurbishment. I was told it was the first 110 registered in Kenya and was originally a 2 door. Loved this truck and wish I could have brought it back to the States with me.
