How about the hard lines at the firewall that the rubber lines connect to? Or the hard lines at the core itself? I agree. I hope it's not the core cause it def aint easy to access.

If you want to be able to drive the truck without it leaking all over the floor, just pull the heater hoses from the heater core via the fire wall. Take a piece of pipe at least 2 inches long and connect the 2 heater hoses together. It'll get you by until you replace the heater core.
