@Pacific Northwest yetti, I just pulled the trigger yesterday on the SuperTop. It's supposed to arrive Monday, which is pretty impressive service.

Thanks again for the helpful information!
🙂
I think you will really like it. If you have a heated place to install it, and a second pair of hands it may be helpful. If the fabric is cold, it won’t stretch like it should, especially at first.

Edit, I just saw you are listed in Florida. So probably dont need a heated area. :)

Sadly, my SuperTop was not delivered today - perhaps delayed by eclipse shenanigans. I do hope it gets here before my Thursday fishing trip, though. I've watched a few install videos and ya - assuming it gets here before Wednesday, I should be good - if I just lay out the fabric on the grass while I manage the rest of the install, I should be okay.

Solid plan!

The rear plastic, is now showing a small crack. I’ll probably just rub some Clear RTV on it to prevent it from getting worse.

Not bad, for all the abuse it has seen. I don’t actually know how to take care of it. The top gets washed with the same rain’x soap the truck does. And all the windows on the truck and top get rain x spray foam treatment.

I imagine the rear window will split, by the end of summer. And I will just replace with a new zip in one.

One of the things that assuaged any fears i had about the soft top was that they will happily sell you spare/replacement parts at reasonable prices.

Helping my mum move. Still tows the little stock trailer well. Although, I should probably fix the trailer breaks on the trailer. But it’s pretty low on my list, and the wires pulled out of the hubs. So it’s a replace it all kind of job.

It just never really mattered with the HD.

Ordered the tires, these ones are still the OE. And not in great shape. A little squishy and all leak a bit. Since its only being driven on weekend right now, I have let them slide.

I liked this guys thought process,

Tires on, the duratracks that were on it. I am pretty sure they were still the stock tires.

The front rubbed on the way home. Just due to the front mud flaps, and the way the bridge the indentation between the outer and inner fender. The right now fix, was simply to remove them.

Maybe, later I will work on a trimming solution. Where they can be installed again later. I liked them, these tires are narrower however then the duratracks.

And I should have the tune back from Tri fecta, for the new tire size, and Speedo calibration.

I will get some better pictures later, but it was 110 when I got off of work. And did not want to spend much time melting outside.

She is still just happily scooting along. No complaints,

replaced the cabin airfilter, and air filter today. 1st for both since i bought it. When i got it, the dealer threw in 2 free oil changes a year in for 5 years, So i have not been doing those.
Of course everytime they suggest cabin airfilter, engine air filter. To which i ask " do they look bad? And the service tech always says, " i dunno we just always ask"

So i figured may as well pick some up this time. Unfortunately i could not find the frams, my preference brand.

Air filter looked great, was not bad at all. And she does spend time in the dirt, its all dry sand around here. And the places i cut out the interior fender, then covered the exposed metal with red electrical tape paint. Still holding up.

Tail gate is a little messy as i am prepping gear for Peru. And was waterproofing the boots and moto jacket. Even though they already are, wont hurt. And tailgates make decent work benches. Although not as good as the flatbed.

The cabin filter was worse. My 04 did not have one, so it was new for me.
