The Jeep Expeditions Home Built Trailer

2" is exactly what I went with on my trailer build to enable me to use matching AEV wheels to my JK. Trial and error is all part of the fun!

    NEW! Awnings from James Baroud

Pardon the Hijack, but will there be pricing on the JK window insulation panels soon? I seem them on jamesbaroudusa.com but I can't seem to locate the panels or pricing info on any of the online dealer sites. TIA!

The Jeep Expeditions Home Built Trailer

Good start! Depending on the jeep specific wheels, the 1.5 inch spacer may not be enough to clear the Dexter hub without some modification to the dust cap. Have fun!

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Yeah, sadly mine were rusted and unusable. I may try to track down some NOS parts and see what I can put together.

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Thanks! The Titan parking brake kit I attempted to use from etrailers.com was not compatible with the Dexter Axle/electric brakes, despite saying otherwise on their site. The only Dexter solution I have found so far is an expensive one and requires a lever kit, and then two cables...

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

Ah, thought it was AGM when I looked it up but maybe I looked up the wrong one. Regardless, he's got a good resting rate!

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

That's great on the battery front! Would be curious to see what the ArkPak reads now if you were to put it back in, if it will immediately go into discharge mode.

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

My Diehard platinums typically show 13.7-8 on the charger. Is that after a 12 hour rest period?

National Luna Split-Charge System Charging Issues?

Sure you are not having starter issues? How old are your batteries? When my NL unit malfunctioned, it would not join the batteries at all.

    Freedom Fighter M101 build

Thanks, without all the inspiration and help from the this forum, I never would have attempted it! I've been looking at the bakflip, will be cool to see your pics when you have time and would love to know specifically what model bakflip you ordered.

    Freedom Fighter M101 build

Nice build! Would love to see more of the lid for the trailer, did you make it?

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

12.5 isn't great. While you are waiting for your replacement Arkpak, I would suggest putting the battery on different charger and see if you can get it back to 12.7-12.8. Then let it sit for at least 12 hours with no load on it and check the voltage again, it should still be the same. If...

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Thanks! Agreed on the simple mods, I had all sorts of ridiculous elaborate schemes for the umbrella before I came up with the quick fist! I've got an awning on order but in the meantime it seems to work!

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

Wasn't trying to blame anything, or say the Ark pak is infallible, was just curious. I don't have one myself, was just trying to help as I have been through a whole host of battery/split charging issues with other batteries and products. Stepping away...good luck.
