    JLU worth car payments?

Every time I think about down sizing the fleet and keeping ether the Tacoma or the LJ, a littleness voice in my head says get a JT Sport and throw a rear locker in it, add some rock rails, and enjoy. ? Just not sure i am ready to part with the LJ yet. I should just go drive a JT that will...

It’s Here! Jeep Wrangler with Diesel News

What year is your TJ? I have an 05 Unlimited I would love to put a diesel in. Seems ridiculous that my YJ and CJ-7 both got 20'ish MPGs and my TJ gets 14 MPG on a good day lol.

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

It’s funny I keep telling myself the LJ I should more reliable and easier to work on blah blah blah then getting a JKU or JLU. But, I am afraid to drive it from Pittsburgh to Moab to Denver. I am currently looking into what it will cost to make me feel confident driving it across country but...

    Expo LJR Update

@LJRubiReal what size tires have you run with 4:10 gears? I have an Unlimited Sport with 3:73 and the auto and I want to run 33's, but even on just 31's it feels so underpowered.

15 years (so far) with this TJ!

@Beentheredoingthat what kind of MPG's are you getting? Buy LJ actually got close to 20MPG's with 30's. I am thinking a re-gear and a hub kit might help me get that with 31's or 32's?

@Beentheredoingthat those are 31's on your jeep right? @billiebob What size tires are you running? Also what roof racks are you guys using and @Beentheredoingthat does the rooftop tent make your jeep feel top heavy at all? I am debating on keeping the LJ vs. Selling everything for a new...

    Which Jeep Model & Why?

Getting off topic here, but isn’t the 4.0 just a variation of the 4.2L I-6 Jeep started using in the early 70’s?

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

I noticed they updated the website so you can build and price a new gladiator. I picked three options and my net price went up to $37,000. I am guessing there is no way this will go below sticker price for a long time. I stopped by the dealership hoping I could see more and it always...

    Which Jeep Model & Why?

I have a Tacoma and an TJ/LJ and I am always tempted to ditch both for a new Jeep but the 4door truck is so practical for my #dadlife lol. Living in the city with 3 cars is getting kind of old, but I am pretty sure I would regret selling the LJ.

    JLU MPG 4 Cylinder

That sounds pretty good. My Tacoma only gets about 17-19 on long drives and about 13 on commutes. My LJ gets 12 on commutes aabd 15-17 on long drives. I like the idea of JT but a Wrangler that can squeeze close to 25mpg on the highway is tempting.

Does anyone on the forum have a JLU with the 4cyl/turbo? I am curious about what kind of real world MPG’s people are getting out of them.

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

Stop making sense @yoggie !!! Now you got the Rubicon on my mind lol. I ll just have to drive one when they start showing up. This could be the solution to my Tacoma vs. my TJ Unlimited dilemma.

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

Price is better than I expected. Just wonder if you’d be better off with a sport, doing an aftermarket selectable rear locker, rock rails, winch and bumper and rear swing out there carrier and calling it a day.

    Time for a change?

@Sleam is this a toy or something you drive everyday? If you are sentimental and love your 4Runner I wouldn’t lean towards keeping it. But... if you can afford something newer to you it’s not a bad thing to move forward and on to the next 4Runner. I go back and forth all the time about my 2005...
