The Raptor has similar to less payload than the Tacoma and Frontier. Those trucks are often loaded over GVWR by “Overlanders”.
OP is free to make his own decisions but I highly suggest looking at the weights of things. GVWR exists for a reason, and I would think it’s more important to stay under...
1200lb payload. After a 90lb dog, you, and your gf you’ll have something like 800lb for a camper. How about enough water to last for 3-4 days and every thing else? Also your Raptor is the 5.5’ box? That’s gonna put all the weight of the camper on your back axle.
I don’t think a truck camper is...
I had an old first seargeant who said he like those old dodge ambulances better than the CUCV version. Not sure why, might have been a roominess thing, he was like 6’7”.
I think LED replacement high beams are a good deal. Might now be strictly legal but you don’t have your high beams on when approaching traffic anyway.
My “500w” $30 no name LED light bar measured out more like a 50w but was still pretty good as a wide beam flood light. Kinda want to upgrade it.
Nice looking setup.
What size fuel tank do you get with the gas chassis cab 350? Is the spare tire still behind the axle? Is there any complication with insuring the chassis cab?
I think the fords often come with a tag on the diff. 4 10 would be an open 410. 4L10 would be a limited slip.
Or look up the code on the door jam sticker where it says “axle”.
