    Just building my 200 Series.

Do you take into account elevation related pressure changes with those jerry cans? I used a pair of steel cans like those and they became permanently deformed after going from sea level to 5-6,000’. Also I got covered in fuel when I opened one at that altitude, lol.

2020 Ram 5500 DIY Composite Panel Camper Build Thread

As someone who lives in the rustbelt, the first thing I think of is how I'd have to hammer those things off with a chisel(ruining them in the process) after the first winter if anti-seize isn't used. Hell last time I had to change rotors they were cracking apart by the time I got them off.

Hey Vortec Guys! / Sierra pickup / Suburban / Yukon etc - Finally has Index!

My truck is a 2011 2500 so I think I'm already working with the biggest oem stuff. Hopefully I didn't fry my new pads/rotors. I drove about 2 miles round trip before I decided they weren't gonna work like that. When I stopped to turn around they were a little smoky, lol.

Hey Vortec Guys! / Sierra pickup / Suburban / Yukon etc - Finally has Index!

My truck has 135k on it, I've had it since 90k. I was getting some pulsation with braking so I figured it was time for new pads and rotors. The caliper bolts will not come out of the caliper brackets so I can't separate the two. The caliper bolts are 10mm hex. I tried to get them off with my...

    Sumosprings?

I have the black ones on my 2500. They don’t affect my unloaded ride quality. I don’t notice them at all except the truck doesn’t squat quite as much with my heavy trailer.

Switch to LED head lamps or No

About five years ago I bought a set for my old Chevy. They sucked, 4 hotspots and no cutoff. Not even bright. I returned them. I tried again with my newer Chevy. 40$/ set bulbs. At first I was getting flashed once or twice on my hour long commute. I adjusted them down and haven’t been flashed...

Do you use wheel spacers for wheeling?

I had them on the rear of my old Chevy to bring the wheels out to match the fronts, no problems. Those Chevys had a wider front track from the factory for some reason.

GMT400 Suburban as Base Overland Rigs?

Even my 4 door s10 blazer had enough room to sleep in(for 1 person). A twin sized mattress fit perfectly back there. A suburban would have enough room and then some.

    Stoves??

I bought a little butane single burner for a late fall car camping trip. It sucked, wouldn't work. Took me a while to figure out it was too cold at 30F. I had to throw the butane canister on the dash of the truck, wait for the truck to warm up, and then wait for the canister to warm up. Coffee...
