If you want straight axles, buy a truck with straight axles. Unless you're building a rock crawler, then logic really doesn't apply and you wouldn't be asking this question on ExPo anyway.

I heard the offroad system is terrible on these trucks, and like I've seen in pictures, they office very little articulation. LR's have more, and offer stellar traction aids to combat the two and three wheeling that happens. I do really love the R51's looks though. It's too bad.

Agreed. Scott's list is pretty good, but insanely extensive. If you're doing brakes, do all the bearings and seals as well. No reason not to. I'd bring a spare water pump, fuel pump, and brake switch and call it a day.

yup. The tire impressed me otherwise, but I'm really disappointed with their strength. I'll be going back to BFG when these wear out, the new KO2s seem very impressive.
